The Department of Mechanical and Civil Engineering at the University of Evansville invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor position in Civil Engineering to start in August 2021.
The primary responsibilities include teaching 9-12 contact hours per semester. Applicants whose primary specialty areas are in construction engineering or construction management are encouraged to apply. Strong applicants from other civil engineering specialty areas will also be considered for this position. Applicants should be committed to outstanding undergraduate teaching and expected to teach courses such as construction management, surveying, civil engineering materials, introductory level engineering courses, and elective courses in their specialty area.
B.S. in civil engineering and an earned doctorate (or near completion) in civil engineering.
