We are seeking an innovative, experienced, and highly motivated financial manager to develop and manage our capital budget and grants. The Capital Budget and Grants Manager will develop and implement the Six-Year Capital Improvement Program and closely coordinate with project development/implementation staff over the full project lifecycle. It will also develop, optimize, and direct pre- and post-award grant management activities to include identification and pursuit of grant opportunities, coordination with local, state, and federal funding partners, and provision of oversight and guidance to grants accounting staff.

What are we looking for? Requires a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration or related field with experience managing capital budgets through the full project lifecycle; developing and administering grants; planning and prioritizing work and managing staff; utilizing technology, financial management systems, and other automated tools; managing complex business processes; preparing reports and analyses; and making effective presentations. Highly competitive candidates will also have a master's degree with experience in a public sector, transportation, or rail setting and experience administering USDOT/Federal Transit Administration grant programs and project compliance.
