Research Agronomist/Research Biologist/Agricultural Engineer (Computational)
The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, Forage Seed and Cereal Research Unit in Corvallis, OR seeks a Research Biologist (Computational)/Agronomist/Agricultural Engineer (Computational) GS-0401/0471/0890-12/13 ($84,923 -$100,984 per annum, plus benefits). The scientist in this position develops new computational, simulation, or modeling approaches to answer questions about crop production and cropping systems, focusing on industrial hemp. Collaborative opportunities exist with a broad range of agricultural scientists to work at the scale of individual plants, fields, farms, or regional cropping systems.
